Individual therapy
Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Family therapy
Online or in-person, family therapy sessions include the identified client and 1 or more family members such as a parent, child, partner, or sibling to address the relationship(s) between them. These sessions can be scheduled weekly or as needed depending on client needs and preferences. Many clients prefer a minimum of 90 minutes for family or couples therapy.

EMDR sessions
In-person, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy incorporates talk therapy with the use of bilateral (left-right) stimulation such as eye movements or other sensory input to help reprocess and neutralize distressing or traumatic memories. EMDR can also support shifts in stress response patterns.

Intensives
Online and In-person, intensive sessions are longer than the traditional 60 minute therapy session. Intensive sessions require prior consultation and assessment to schedule. Clients may choose intensive session formats for EMDR, family, or couples sessions. Intensive sessions are also appropriate to address a recent traumatic experience (such as a motor vehicle accident) or for clients working with other mental health professionals for a specific goal.
Fees for intensives are $100 per 30 minutes and can be scheduled at intervals of 30 minutes from 1.5 hours to 4 hours as single sessions or a series of recurring sessions for a limited time.
Private pay only.
Dr. Thompson only accepts self-pay clients at this time at a rate of $100 per 30 minutes. Sessions are generally scheduled in 60 or 90 minute intervals. Length of intensive treatments can be discussed during a consultation or after the initial consultation.
